Harvest Time Is Now

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful and give praise to God
For all the blessings He has bestowed.

Harvest Time is Now

1 Corinthians 3:5-9

5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
6I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

Hosea 6:10
10I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
Jeremiah 8:20 The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.

We can participate with God in His work of preparing the soul.

First, we must pray for others and secondly, we must go to sinners if we expect sinners to come to the Savior. Thirdly, one must sow the seed – sharing your testimony and the Word of God.

With one person we may be given an opportunity to participate in the seed-planting by sharing the scriptures. In another case, we may have the opportunity to water or fertilize.

Crops go through three stages-green, ripe, and rotten. Harvest of souls is only effective at one stage. If we prematurely harvest the fruit (soul) before it is riped (ready) we run the risk of ruining the fruit (salvation for the soul). If we wait too long to harvest the fruit it may be too late.

The Key is sensitivity to the Spirit and timely intervention.
