A New Birth

Deuteronomy 6:4

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

Mark 12:29-30

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Often when you hear people quote the scripture Thou shalt love the Lord they God with all thy heart and so forth; however, the Lord is reminding us not to leave out the first of all the commandments is “Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.

In Deuteronomy this came to the Jew first then to the Gentile through Christ Jesus. When we consider the Jewish people first a new birth will begin within us, our hearts will be over-whelmed with His Love for His people. Ask now for the Spirit to give you a revelation of the Divine order in your Spirit you will never be the same; something within you changes forever.

Humbly I bow myself to Thee

Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
.Nothing will happen in our Christian walk until we yield to the Holy Spirit in humility; henceforth Word only with no power or Holy Ghost ( 1 Thess 1:5)

One must let the Holy Spirit led and submit ourselves each hour of the day to His will; be still and listen. It is up to you to allow God’s power to flow through you

Jesus was anointed by God and miracles, healings, deliverance and His Glory was present… Now Heavenly Father, I pray according to Romans 15:13

13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

FOOTNOTE:

"Power" – dunamis – GK miraculous power; implication a miracle itself; ability; abundance, might; power strength; wonderful works;

He Who Waits Upon The Lord

'ReligiousImage by spike55151 via Flickr

Psalm 40:1-2
1I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Your circumstances have not changed, you are struggle to make ends meet, you don’t know where to turn; but the Lord is waiting for you to cry out to Him. He will reach down and pull you up and your feet will be planted firmly – WHY because He heard your cry and He will not abandoned you. Salvation is for today.

If you haven’t received salvation email me at: prayer@eastlink.ca
FOOTNOTES:
“And he inclined unto me and heard my cry”
In the Tehillim it states that:
Sometimes God does not bend down to hear, meaning that He, in His infinite wisdom, chooses not to interfere with the normal course of events in order to effect salvation (Malbim).
“He set my feet upon a rock”

(Be'er Avrahm) indicates:
The man drowning therein desperately clutches for something solid: i.e.. a rock to which he can cling

I DELIGHT TO DO THY WILL

Ecclesiastes 5:1-2
1Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
2Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
3For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words.
WHAT IS THE LORD’S DESIRE FOR US TO LISTEN THEN OBEY
DO NOT BE HASTY TO COMMENT WITHOUT THINKING FIRST. WHEN MOSES PRAYED FOR HIS SISTER HE PRAYED 5 WORDS “Heal her now, OGD, I beseech thee.”
In the rabbinic sources some rabbis believed that some dreams reflect an overabundance of unrelated fleeting thoughts, and over anxiety in practical affairs;
Perhaps, this may be so in some cases and Solomon is reminding us to keep our words few. When I think of when Jesus spoke, especially when He was healing or through deliverance His words were few.
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray today and each day I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue and that my mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the mediatation of my heart shall be understanding. I thank you for the power over my tongue in Jesus Name Amen – Ps 39:1; Ps 49:3

In Secret You Shall Be Reward

Candle of LoretoImage by Loci Lenar via Flickr

Matthew 6:1-8
1Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

As I prayed to the Lord I said, “is there someone out there that needs a message today” Twice, the Lord brought me to this scripture. Beware, when you are compassionate towards people who need your help we are not to boast to others or even let others know the goodness that we do; alms is not just referring to the giving money.
Abraham, Moses, David and Jeremiah and many more went to God in pray alone and God heard their pray and answered their prayer. Search your heart and keep it pure and deny any religious or prideful spirits that are exalting yourself. I say this in Love and by the Holy Spirit to help you to grow and mature in the Lord and not to condemn anymore; but to keep you in His Word and Blessing.

God and Man & Heaven

God and Man at YaleImage via Wikipedia

God
And Man & Heaven
We must understand and believe the consequences of being a sinner. The bible says:For the wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)

Repent

This desire to turn from our sin is called repentance.I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, (Acts 3:19)The Lord is . . .not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God, freely given to all who ask - it can never be earned! For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(Ephesians 2:8-9)

God Loves Us

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;. (Romans 3:25)God loved us and gave us His Son even though we did nothing to deserve His love. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.(Romans 5:8)Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Receive Jesus Christ As Savior

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12)

If you truly understand and believe, I urge you to ask Jesus into your life - do not delay! While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. (Hebrews 3:15).Tell Him you believe in His sacrifice as complete forgiveness for your sins and ask Him to be your Savior.
If you have come this far, do not let another moment go by!! There’s no special prayer required. Simply tell Him you believe and ask Him to save you.

Pray a prayer something like this:

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner who deserves an eternal death. I desire to turn from my sin, but I know that on my own, I can never achieve a sinless life. Left on my own I will be forever separated from You. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again as an eternal sacrifice for my sin. I accept the gift of Jesus and ask Him into my life as my Savior. Amen.If this was prayed with a sincere heart, you are from this very moment, His Child.

You have been "born again" (John 3:3), made a "new creation" (2 Corinthians 5:17), and will one day enter into the Kingdom of God (Heaven).

The Lord’s Tender Mercy
10Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
11Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
James 5:10-11 – KJV

Here is an example of Job who suffered tremendously. He lost everything, including his health, material possession, his children died. However, he did not give up on the Lord. Yes, he said things to the Lord through his frustrations, but the Lord always answered him. Job has a very expiring story of his affliction and pain that he suffered. Even his wife, told him to turn his back on God; but Job was dedicated to the Lord. Towards the end of the book of Job, he prayed for his friends and the Lord blessed him with twice as much as he had before. (Job 42:10). The Word says, the Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy. So whatever, you are going through press forward and don’t give up. Our sufferings are to bring us in a closer relationship with God. Although we might not understand completely His word says, lean not on your own understand (Prov 3:4-5) Just know that whatever you go through it is to bring you to completion in Him. In all situations look on the positive side and there you will See Him.

I do understand, that sometimes we can have some really hard times even when we are walking in righteousness. Sometimes, you may wonder how you are going to keep on with your life. Just remember in all things there is a season. God bless and have a great day. Nancy Sarah

Honor Thy Brother

GAZA CITY, GAZA STRIP - SEPTEMBER 30: Palesti...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

Honor Thy Brother
A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons, Kevin, 5, and Ryan, 3. The boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake. Their mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson. If Jesus were sitting here, He would say, "Let my brother have the first pancake. I can wait."
Kevin turned to his younger brother and said, "Ryan, you be Jesus."

He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 1 John 2:10
God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:15
But if we walk in the light, as, he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

1 John 2:5

Love one another; let your words be full of compassion and kindness. Bless your friend, co-worker or spouse today – God is Love
Keep His Word in Your heart today and you go forth in His blessings and favour
