The Lord’s Tender Mercy
10Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
11Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
James 5:10-11 – KJV

Here is an example of Job who suffered tremendously. He lost everything, including his health, material possession, his children died. However, he did not give up on the Lord. Yes, he said things to the Lord through his frustrations, but the Lord always answered him. Job has a very expiring story of his affliction and pain that he suffered. Even his wife, told him to turn his back on God; but Job was dedicated to the Lord. Towards the end of the book of Job, he prayed for his friends and the Lord blessed him with twice as much as he had before. (Job 42:10). The Word says, the Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy. So whatever, you are going through press forward and don’t give up. Our sufferings are to bring us in a closer relationship with God. Although we might not understand completely His word says, lean not on your own understand (Prov 3:4-5) Just know that whatever you go through it is to bring you to completion in Him. In all situations look on the positive side and there you will See Him.

I do understand, that sometimes we can have some really hard times even when we are walking in righteousness. Sometimes, you may wonder how you are going to keep on with your life. Just remember in all things there is a season. God bless and have a great day. Nancy Sarah
